Warmer Weather

As the warmer weather arrives, we know many residents will be enjoying fresh air and sunshine by leaving windows and doors open. Unfortunately, this can also create opportunities for opportunistic intruders. We ask everyone to please stay security‑minded. When leaving your home, always ensure you lock doors and windows. Get into the habit of closing and locking unattended doors and windows, even if you are home or in the back garden. It only takes a few seconds for offenders to take valuables and leave un-noticed. 

Secure keys, purses, wallets, jewellery, mobile phones and computers. Keep them out of sight. Consider using window restrictors, door chains or alarms where possible. Look out for your neighbours and report anything suspicious. A few simple precautions can make a big difference in keeping your home and community safe. If you see any suspicious behaviour, please report it.
